Overbuilt on purpose

We make fewer things and make them tougher. Every layer is field-tested above the treeline and backed for life, because the best gear is the gear you never have to replace.

When something does wear out, we fix it. Send it in, we patch it and send it back, no receipt required.

  • Guaranteed for life, repairs included
  • Recycled and bluesign shells
  • Tested by the people who design it

What the shell is made of

The same spec sheet we hand the factory, printed on the hangtag.

Face fabric

70D recycled nylon ripstop, holding 2,300mm hydrostatic head after fifty washes.

Membrane

Solvent-free polyurethane, PFAS free, rated at 20,000g per square metre per day.

Seams

Fully taped with 13mm heat-bonded tape. Nine seams total, which is as few as we could get to.

Hardware

Waterproof YKK zips, bar-tacked pulls, and a hem cord you can work with gloves on.

Weight

412 grams in a medium. The hood is not removable, because removable hoods leak.

Repair

Free for life. Send it back muddy and we will patch it and post it home.

The build

Heavier than it needs to be

We spec heavier fabric, bigger zips, and double the stitching. The best gear is the gear you never think about.

Lifetime guarantee

Repairs included, for as long as you own it.

Recycled shells

Bluesign fabrics from post-consumer materials.

Field-tested

Proven above the treeline before it ships.

Carbon neutral

Every order, offset at no cost to you.

How it is made

Four factories, all of them named

We publish the list because a supply chain you cannot see is one nobody is checking.

01

Yarn

Recycled nylon spun in Taiwan from post-industrial waste, certified to the global standard.

02

Fabric

Woven and coated in Suzhou, at a mill we have used since our first season.

03

Cut and sew

Assembled in Da Nang, in a factory we visit twice a year and audit annually.

04

Finish

Washed, taped, and spray tested in the same building. Every shell gets checked.

Six winters in and it looks better than my newer jackets.
