Nocturne is a small perfume house that works the way a composer does: a few notes, held in balance, that unfold over hours. Each scent is built to change as the night goes on.
We bottle in refillable glass and never test on animals.

Composition
What is in the bottle
The full pyramid and the concentration, printed on every carton.
Concentration
Extrait at 24 percent. It lasts because of the oil load, not because of a fixative.
Top
Bergamot, pink pepper, and a green note lifted from crushed fig leaf.
Heart
Orris butter, jasmine absolute, and a small amount of leather underneath.
Base
Sandalwood, ambrette seed, and vetiver from a single farm in Haiti.
Naturals
Eighty-two percent by weight. The rest is there because nature cannot do it safely.
Maceration
Six weeks in steel before bottling. Nothing ships the week it was mixed.

Each scent begins with a single idea and a few materials, layered so it opens, turns, and settles like a piece of music.

Rested before it is bottled
Every batch sits for weeks so the materials marry, then it is decanted into refillable glass by hand.
